How to Populate the Seating Plan with Tickets

You can access this feature from your MSL website. Only Content Editors with access to Events Admin can access the Seating Plan windows.

How to Populate the Seating Plan with Ticket Numbers from Transaction Data

  1. Log in to your MSL website.
  2. From the Admin dropdown, select Events Admin. The Events Admin window is displayed.
  3. From the list of Events, select the relevant event. The Event Details window is displayed.

  4. Click Seating Plan. The Edit Event Seating Plan window is displayed.

  5. In the Details section, select the Use transaction reference number checkbox.

  6. Click Update. A confirmation message is displayed.

  7. In the Ticket reference options section, click Refresh ticket numbers from transaction data.

  8. The Ticket status text field is populated with ticket numbers of tickets already purchased. If the tickets are still on sale, Ticket status will continue to automatically populate with ticket numbers.


How to Populate the Seating Plan with Sequential Tickets

The Add Sequential Tickets section should only be used if you are issuing tickets containing a separate unique reference number e.g. a wristband or paper ticket.


  1. Log in to your MSL website.
  2. From the Admin dropdown, select Events Admin. The Events Admin window is displayed.
  3. From the list of Events, select the relevant event. The Event Details window is displayed.

  4. Click Seating Plan. The Edit Event Seating Plan window is displayed.

  5. In the Add sequential tickets section, complete the following fields:

    • Number format

    • Start number

    • Number of tickets

  6. Click Add. The Ticket status text field is populated with ticket numbers.
