How to Enable and Personalise Election Notification Messages

You can access this feature from your MSL website. Only Content Editors with access to Elections Admin can access the Edit Notifications window.

  1. Log in to your MSL website.
  2. From the Admin dropdown, select Elections Admin. The Elections Admin window is displayed.
  3. From the list of Elections, select the relevant election. The Edit Election window is displayed. 
  4. Click Notifications. The Edit Notifications window is displayed.
  5. Click the relevant Notification linkfield. The dialog is displayed.
  6. In the Edit Template section, the From Name and From Address fields are already populated. If required, edit these fields.

  7. In the Subject field, enter the subject for your Notification message.

  8. In the Body field:

    • Enter your message

    • Use the editor toolbar to format your text, add images, links etc.

    • Use the Tokens dropdown to insert pre-set election information such as {ELECTION_TITLE} or {VOTE_DATETIME} to your message

  9. Click Save Changes. The Edit Notifications window and a confirmation message are displayed.
