How to Cast a Referendum Vote using the Polling Station

You can access this feature from your MSL System Admin site. Only Super Admins with Polling Station Operators or Site Admins permissions can access the Polling Station. Polling Station Operators should access the Polling Station via the direct link https://[sitecode].admin.ukmsl.net/voting/.

1. Log in to your MSL System Admin site at https://[domainname]/msl/. The Home menu is displayed.
2. From the Home menu, select Voting. The Voting submenu is displayed.
3. Select Polling Station. The Polling Station login window is displayed.
4. Enter your MSL System Admin site username and password, and click Log in. The Polling Station Setup window is displayed.
5. In the Enable Voting For: field, select the Referenda checkbox.
6. In the Select Operating Mode: field, select an option.
7. Click Continue. 
   1. If in Unattended mode, the Voter Login window is displayed.
      • Complete the following fields:
        • User ID
        • Password
      • Click Log in
      • The Select Referendum window is displayed
   2. If in Attended mode, the Voter Identification window is displayed.
      • In the Enter University ID number field, enter the University ID number of the voter
      • Click Go
      • The Select Referendum window is displayed.
8. Next to the relevant Referendum, click Select. The Select Motion window is displayed.
9. Next to the relevant Motion, click Select. The Ballot window is displayed.

10. Select the relevant Choice.  You are returned to the Select Motion window.
