How to Change a Survey's Organisation

You can access this feature from your MSL website. Only Content Editors with access to Survey Admin and with permission to edit surveys at the MSL Membership System root Organisation (Group ID: 0) can change a survey’s organisation.


Changing the survey's organisation may alter the ability to respond if the Members Only checkbox is selected.

  1. Log in to your MSL website.
  2. From the Admin dropdown, select Survey Admin. The Survey Admin window is displayed.
  3. From the list of Surveys, select the relevant survey. The Edit Survey window is displayed.
  4. In the Details section, next to the Organisation field, click the Change Organisation linkfield. The Change organisation dialog is displayed.
  5. In the New organisation field, either:
    1. Start typing the Name of your Organisation or the Organisation ID to which the Survey will belong, then select the relevant one from the dropdown that is displayed.
    2. Click the Grouping Tree icon (). The grouping tree is displayed. Click Expand () to display the contents of a node, and click one item to select. The selected item is entered into the New Organisation field.
  6. Click Change. You are returned to the Edit Survey window.
