How to Add a New Poll

You can access this feature from your MSL website. Only Content Editors with access to Poll Admin and Organisation Admins with permissions to create polls can access the Poll Admin window.

  1. Log in to your MSL website.
  2. From the Admin dropdown, select Poll Admin. The Select Organisation window is displayed.
  3. From the list of Organisations, select the relevant organisation. The selected organisation’s Poll Admin window is displayed.
  4. Click Add new poll. The New Poll window is displayed.
  5. In the Question section:
    • Complete the Text field
    • In the Dates fields,  click the Calendar icons () and from the date pickers, select the relevant dates. Complete the time fields e.g. 13:00
    • If required, select the following checkboxes
      • Members only? 
      • Visible to public?
    • From the Default chart type dropdown, select an option
  6. Click Save Changes. The Answers section is displayed.
  7. In the Answers section:
    • Click Add answer. The Add/Edit Answer dialog is displayed
    • Complete the Answer text field
    • In the Colour field, either:
      1. From the colour picker, select a colour
      2. Enter a HEX value. The corresponding colour is displayed
    • Click Save changes
