Edit Home Screen

The Home Screen of your StudentLink or StudentLink+ app is the first window that greets your users once they've launched and logged into the app. Use it to showcase relevant content and promote various activities, such as events and elections, throughout the academic year.

To maximise the impact of the home screen, you should regularly update its content with timely events. By providing users with a dynamic and ever-changing experience, the home screen keeps them engaged, anticipating what's happening next at your student organisation.

The home screen supports news articles, events, organisations, elections and referenda. You can easily re-order the items and set featured items that are always displayed at the top of the list.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

You can access this feature from your MSL website. Only Content Editors with access to App Admin can access the Edit Home Screen window.

Expired items or deleted organisations are not automatically removed from the Edit Home Screen window. While unpublished or expired items are not displayed on your app's home screen, you should periodically remove all expired items from the Edit Home Screen window.
For further information, see How to Remove All Expired Items from the Home Screen.

For further information, see StudentLink and StudentLink+ Overview.
