You can access this feature from your MSL website. Only Content Editors with access to Website Admin can access the Site Design window.
Before proceeding, please be aware that Smart App Banners are only supported by Apple devices.
To find your StudentLink+ app's store ID, search for your app in the App Store, select, and copy the link to your app. An app's Apple Store ID number is the string of numbers directly after id. For example, the StudentLink app's link is https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/studentlink/id1421753802 and its Apple Store ID is 1421753802.
Once enabled, if a user dismisses the Smart App Banner, it will not be displayed to them again.

- Log in to your MSL website.
- From the Admin dropdown, select Website Admin. The Website Admin window is displayed.
- In the Site section, select Skins and Templates. The Site Design window is displayed.
- In the Template Snippets section, from the list of Snippets, select your MSL Website's current <head> snippet. The Edit Snippet window is displayed.
- Select one of the following options and follow that set of instructions only:
- StudentLink app (your users select their institution from a list)
- In the Content field, enter the following code: <meta name="apple-itunes-app" content="app-id=1421753802">
- StudentLink+ app (you have your own named app in the app stores)
- Find your App Store ID
- In the Content field, enter the following code (where 123456789 is replaced with your App Store ID): <meta name="apple-itunes-app" content="app-id=[123456789]">
- StudentLink app (your users select their institution from a list)
- In the Save Changes section, in the Notes field, enter any relevant information about the change.
- Click Save Changes. A confirmation message is displayed.
