Use the Election List widget to make your election live on your MSL website. This widget is versatile; you can display elections on normal website pages or specific student group pages. Customise it to display all ongoing elections or focus on a particular one, like your Officer election.
You also have the flexibility to specify a different election root page, so instead of your voting page being https://[domainname]/elections/vote/[electionID], it could be https://[domainname]/leadership/vote/[electionID], if, for example, you've created an elections microsite for your leadership elections. The Voter Popup widget helps you show tailored messages to users based on their voting status in a specific election. Whether they haven't started voting, voting is in progress, or they've finished voting, you can customise the displayed text.
Additionally, you can create voting dashboards to display voter turnout data for a visual representation of participation. For further information, see Voting Dashboards.

You can access this feature from your MSL website. Only Content Editors with access to Website Admin can access the Website Pages window. Widgets in the Site Widgets section are displayed only to Content Editors with permission to edit pages applied at the root (https://[domainname]/) of your MSL website.
Though not limited to use during Elections, consider adding a Countdown widget to your election pages. This displays a timer counting down to a key date of your choosing, like the closing of nominations or the opening and closing of voting.
To enhance performance in large elections with many posts, MSL recommends deselecting the Show Candidacy Options and Show Edit Link checkboxes on the Election List widget before voting begins. For further information, see How to Configure an Election List Widget for Optimised Voter Page Load.
