Understanding Your Email Domain

  • University Email - If your email is associated with the University, or other parent institution, your email extension is likely ".ac.uk". For example, if all users have emails that end with "@example.ac.uk", your email domain will be "example.ac.uk"
  • Non-University Email - For non-university email users, the email domain will usually match your website domain. For example, if all users have email addresses like "user@example.com", your email domain will be "example.com"
