Contact Options

Users can customise how they receive communication from specific organisations through your MSL website, but super admins can also adjust these settings if required. Deselecting the Allow checkbox for each contact method means communication won't be sent outside the MSL System but will still be accessible via the user's Message Centre on your MSL website.

When a user joins a new organisation, they'll automatically receive email communication from that organisation. If they re-join an organisation they were previously a member of, their previous communication preferences will be preserved. For example, if they opted out of email communication from a society before, they'll remain opted out when they re-join.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

You can access this feature from your MSL System Admin site. Only Super Admins with Membership Admins or Site Admins permissions can access the Person Contact Options window.

If a user's contact details don't show up on a report, it means either they're missing those details or they've opted out of receiving communication from the organisation the report is run for.
