You can access this feature from your MSL Admin site. Only Super Admins with Membership Admins or Site Admins permissions can access the Group Mappings window.
To automatically create Data Parameter Value Groups for new values added during your data import, ensure that Create Groups is enabled for the Parameter. For further information, see How to Edit a Data Parameter.
If you receive a message stating "There is an existing grouping of this type in the system", it means a group link was removed without deleting the group. To reconnect the value with the existing group, see How to Link Multiple Values to an Existing Group.

- Log in to your MSL Admin site at https://[domainname]/msl/. The Home menu is displayed.
- From the Home menu, select University Data. The University Data submenu is displayed.
- From the University Data submenu, select Set Up Parameters. The Set Up Parameters window is displayed.
- Next to the relevant parameter, click Set Up Group Links (
). The Group Mappings window is displayed.
- Next to the relevant Value, click + Create Group. The corresponding Data Parameter Value group is created, and linked to the Data Parameter Value.
