Event Templates are micro-templates that set what information about your events gets pulled through to your events pages, and where this information is displayed using Tokens. Event Templates support images and CSS, so you can ensure your events pages match the look and feel of your organisation, club night, or other regular events.
The default Event Template field is automatically selected when you create your event but you can apply a different Event Template per event, making it easy to change the look and feel of each event, ensuring the most important pieces of information are displayed where you want them to be for each event you run.
You can configure Event Brands to use a specific Event Template, so you can change the look and feel of your events pages based on the Brand selected.

Deactivate ( ) | Click to deactivate this Event Template. It will no longer be available to select. |

| HTML | Enter HTML code, including Event Template Tokens, in this field to create the Event Template and specify how information is displayed on your Event page. This field is displayed only in the Edit Template window. |
| Template Tokens | This dropdown lists tokens (placeholders) that can be used in the Event Template. The token text will be replaced by content specific to each event. This field is displayed only in the Edit Template window. For further information, see Event Template Tokens. |

Event Template Tokens
The {tickets} or {ticketsdropdown} token must be added to the Event Template if you want to sell tickets through your MSL website.The {online_meeting_url} and {online_meeting_joining_info} tokens must be added to the Event Template to display the content added to an event's Meeting URL and Joining Info fields on the event page.This table lists and explains the Event Template tokens.

| tickets | This enters a list of the available Primary tickets, giving purchasers the option to pick a number of tickets (between 1-20) from the dropdown menu and add them to their basket. ticketsdropdown | This pulls through a list of the available Primary tickets in a dropdown menu, giving the user the option to add 1 ticket to their basket at a time. This is ideal where Ticket Types are being used to facilitate slot booking, for example. The format can be specified {ticketsdropdown ShopName="" BuyButtonText="" NotLoggedInMessage="" TicketAddedNotificationMessage="" RedirectOnAdd="True/False"}. |
| countdown | This enters a countdown to the event's start date. |
| photos | This enters photos tagged to this event. |
| similar_events | If the event belongs to a brand, this enters upcoming events belonging to the same brand. For further information, see Event Brands. |
