How to Reactivate Expired Memberships

You can access this feature from your MSL System Admin site. Only Super Admins with Membership Admins or Site Admins permissions can access the Person Memberships window.


Ensure that when reactivating a membership, the dates do not overlap with any existing, current memberships. If there is an overlap, reactivation of the expired membership will not be possible.

  1. Log in to your MSL System Admin site at https://[domainname]/msl/. The Home menu is displayed.
  2. From the Home menu, select People. The People submenu is displayed.
  3. In the Search for People section, in the search box, enter the relevant Person ID, Card Number, Name or Email Address and click Search. A matching user or list of users is displayed.
  4. Click on the name of the relevant Person. The Person menu is displayed.
  5. Click Memberships. The Person Memberships window is displayed.
  6. Click + Filters to reveal the filter options, and from the Membership Status dropdown, select Expired. A list of expired memberships is displayed.
  7. Next to the relevant Membership, select the checkbox, then click Reactivate. A Reactivate dialog is displayed.
  8. If required, in the Expiry Date field, from the date picker, select a date then click Apply. A Results dialog with a confirmation message is displayed.
