The Control Panel displays context-sensitive quick links to streamline page editing. For example, it includes Edit Page and Add Child Page links, and, if relevant, when the page is linked to an organisation, it shows a quick link to the organisation's admin tools. Additionally, if there's an Event List widget on the page, it provides a quick link to the Events Admin window, if there's a News List widget, it offers a quick link to the News Admin window for that organisation, etc.
You can access this feature from your MSL website.
The <MSL:ControlPanel> template control displays direct editing links on the current page for users with editing permissions. If a user doesn't have admin or editing rights for the page, the control panel won't be visible.
The steps may vary depending on your MSL website's design. For example, the Control Panel might be under the words "Control Panel" or a Pencil icon. If you're unsure, check with your Contractual System Admin.
If the Control Panel doesn't appear on the page you want to edit, you don't have the necessary permissions. Contact your Contractual System Admin to check and update your permissions if needed.
